MyHockeyDoctor is Hong Kong’s first online hockey store dedicated to providing hockey fans in Hong Kong all the equipment needed without the hassle of overseas postage costs, delivery waiting times or taxes. MyHockeyDoctor features the latest in high technology equipment suitable for people of all ages, from children to adults.

The Challenge

Ice Hockey in Hong Kong is growing in popularity thanks to world class skate rinks, a large expat community from North America and Europe and well organized clubs and leagues.

Whilst there are many shop outlets catering to this growing market there are few online stores selling hockey equipment and thus MyHockeyDoctor wanted a well presented, attractive website integrated with a web analytics solution that allows the client to gauge visitor behavior in detail in order to drive marketing activities.

The focus of the website was to present the products with large, clear images linked to a booking form. The client wanted a means to track goal conversion and so Webtrends gave MyHockeyDoctor the means to track this information.

Inetasia Solution

Inetasia recommended the Optimization Starter Package to promote MyHockeyDoctor. As a new website it was important to establish a firm foundation for a marketing platform for which to build the business on and so Inetasia incorporated On Site Optimization for a Search Engine friendly website.

Within months www.myhockeydoctor.com was receiving 100’s of unique visitors per month and many referrals from Google, Yahoo and Bing for well targeted keyphrases. The intuitive navigation, complimented by a great look and feel has generated a high conversion rate for bookings and enquiries.
